this book is funny, witty and full of travelling information. it's quite a drama as well. written by four talented people - Adhitya Mulya, Alaya Setya, Iman Hidajat & Ninit Yunita (ninit also wrote the book Heart which was made into film).

no, no. it's not a guide book. the book tells a story of four secondary school friends scrambling to make their way to barcelona upon news of one of them getting married. but each of them have their own little agenda about going to barcelona.

the stories are told by each of the friends in a journal-like form telling us their preparation before the journey and of the travel itself, to the people they met along the way and the lessons they learned.

their travelling takes us to the different continents of the world - frm hoi an to amman, frm kansas to new york city, frm copenhagen to venice and frm cape town to tangiers.

this book is one of those book which makes me sad as i read the last few pages coz i hv truly enjoyed it. and this is my first ever indonesian novel! oh! it's written in bahasa indonesia. it wasnt too hard to read but i did get lost with some of the lingos.

i first came across this book in the net. the title intrigues me enough to make me ask to my indonesian colleagues to get the book for me. it was worth it!
